Randy Couture will make a return to the UFC to face none other than Brock Lesner. Taking into consideration that Randy is still the official title holder of the heavyweight belt and that considering that Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira is the current UFC interim heavyweight champion, Lesner will get a direct title shot!
This may apparently leave Couture free to have the fight that he really wants which is against Fedor Emelianenko some time in 2009, unless he has resigned a multifight deal with the UFC thus leaving that possibility way out in the dark. However if Randy loses to Lesner that will drop his stock slightly and project Lesner into a top heavyweight, thus leaving fans wondering about Fedor vs Lesner fight. Lets all hope that Randy wins and the fans finally get the match that has been promised but not delivered.
