It's back! The BJJ British Open will be held over two days on the 27th/ 28th March, at Cocksmoor Leisure, Birmingham. (as last year's event)

Last year it attracted over 650 competitors in a single day event, and was hailed as the event which raised the level of competitions in the UK. This year we aim to have over 1,000 competitors from leading academies from all over the UK and Europe. inc RGA, Carlson Gracie, Ze Marcello, LFF, Lagarto, Gracie Barra/ Braulio Estima and many, many more.....

We will have all divisions inc juniors, female, male, adult, master & senior at all belt levels. inc black belt.

Full details including on-line registration will be available very soon! Watch this space.

We look forward to seeing you once again!

Steve Fan (on behalf of Braulio Estima)

Awesome news.

Great venue, nice central location - I will be there again this year!

Added to my ever expanding 2010 competition diary.

Don't think of it as losing think of it as being beaten by a girl!

A woman's place is on the mat

Sometimes, it would be nice for a guy to sweep me off my feet without them getting 2 points for the takedown;)

Hi Banana,
yes, unfortunately, it does clash with the No GI comp. We ve tried our very best not to clash with any other event, and were also dictated by bank holidays, venue availability and Braulio's massive commitment this year with his own professional competitions and seminars around the world!

At least it gives people a choice - gi or no gi, I guess. I think which ever date we choose , there would be some kind of upset.

If you could help and get as many female competitors entering so we can make it the best yet....

Keep well Wink
