We have 4 ppl from our club competing in the MMA at present, no cage fighters, but we have ring and mat fighters, this is a new school we are aiming to develop and nurture into a full multi-arts school, and then to get a load of crap from this group, lead by your moderator, so explain how we're supposed to act?  Then we read the constant crap splurged in this forum once we barred certain idiots.
These claims have been made by Rob, nobody else, we have claimed nothing, we are wanting to develop a BJJ class, and think we have a suitable instructor in Al Docherty, but seriously?  I think the interest level in the sport has dropped phenomenally thanks to your illustrious leader!!
Now it seems, like we've been held in a bad light here, and maybe our actions in attacking back, make us look like we're at fault, I ask you, who brought this to your attention and blew it out of proportion in the first place?
Who decided to trawl crap throughout our forum?  And who is still trying to explain to you all that we haven;'t answered a thing?
I think we've answered more than what you've asked, a lot of the claims you have stated we've made have been from nothing we've ever said, I'll happily cut and paste certain mails I've received, 5 other members will readily do the same.
My personal retaliation is over, due an arrogant s.o.b who has plagued me these last few days, with questions, I know for one, Becki had already gone to lentgh to answer already!!

SheepDefiler and Matsumura, have you ever heard of either UFC, Pride, WEC, cage rage or cage warriors? these events are MMA(Mixed Martial art) events,  Do the people you refer to compete in this kind of MMA? or could you explain which martial arts are involved in the MMA you mention/train at your club?

The local rag up there shows the Falcon Karate Club as having competed in something called the WOMAA.

I doubt very much BJJ will be effected by Rob's insistence to ascertain credentials from new and possible new BJJ instructors - it will in my eyes and many more strengthen our sport.

Al Docherty (to date) has not been recognised as a Black, Brown or even Purple Belt and Dave Watkinson at best obtained his credentials in BJJ from a Blue Belt.....

This is the very reason we persist in obtaining FACTS.  Thanks for your replies

Please, if you have explained everything, answer the follow-up questions re: Dave Watkinson being a "Grandmaster of BJJ". What about Ray Wood, is the entry on the BJA dan grade register him? If so, is it incorrect and are you going to get it updated?

I thought the chairman of the group would know what was going on. I'm not big into Facebook groups so don't know exactly who runs them.

Still, the guy is obviously an instructor of some sort at the club. He doesn't need to know much about the internet to have been able to tell me "We don't have BJJ lessons". He was rude to me and couldn't answer simple, respectful questions.

If none of you can see how rude this comes across as, then it must be a JuJistu thing, or a Welsh thing (no not being racist, but happen to know certain areas in Yorkshire, are just the same, some come across as arrogant, well this is how it has come across from the start with this!!
Rob you are a moderator of this forum, it's your job to see it runs smoothly, stay;s non-offensive and abides by the rules of the service provider.  You lead this forum, whether you are admin, charrman, whatever name you wish to use, you run and lead this forum.  So to call you leader, I am quite correct!!

I lost all respect for the posters on this forum when they decided to hound a Small Karate Clubs members with claims that their Club is fraudulent!

All I can say is that someones database clearly needs updating... was probably written 20 years ago in DOS!

It was tiresome until you said Peter Walker issued Dave with his BJJ credentials...  Peter Walker (assuming its the same person) is a Blue Belt (at best)...  Therefore not able to make such promotions.

Al docherty is not known and is not certified at any level in BJJ as far as we are aware.  If and when you teach BJJ we would like to help you promote your club and help its growth assuming the correclty qualified people are teaching....  we are now awaiting confirmation on what credentials Al Docherty has and also what credentials Peter Walker (and in fact Kim) have to grade Dave?

What rank are Peter and Kim Walker? What rank did they award to Dave Watkinson? (all re: BJJ)

Is the entry for Ray Wood on the BJA site the correct person? If so, why does it only say 2nd dan? Who awarded him the ranks above that? (CGJJ, if you are reading this, could Ray Wood be legit 8th dan... or 10th? I can't remember the claim right now)

What rank is Al Docherty (BJJ) and who promoted him? Who approached him to teach BJJ?
