Stuart McKay charity memorial comp:

Sunday August 22nd.

Weight classes:

WEIGHT
ROSTER 56kg
LIGHT FEATHER 62kg
FEATHER 68kg
LIGHT 74kg
MIDDLE 80kg
MEDIUM HEAVY 86kg
HEAVY 92kg
SUPER HEAVY 98kg
ULTRA HEAVY over 98 kg
ABSOLUE/OPEN CLASS Live NO WEIGHT LIMIT

Each weight

 class will be split up into the following levels of experience:

Beginner: Under 1 year (No BJJ Blue belts)
Intermediate: Under 3 Year (No BJJ Purple belts)
Advanced: Over 3 years (BJJ purples, brow and black belts must enter this category).

Entry is £15 with proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation.

To enter please pay via paypal (mrbrownstone00@hotmail.com) clearly stating what weight class and level you are entering at along with if you are entering the absolute category.

Closing date for entry will be Wednesday 18th August.

This is a charity event so i'd like to keep it as easy going and fun as possible and am hoping that it will run smoothly. All help will be greatly appreciated and i will keep you updated regarding a donations page that will be online soon.

Free entry for spectators but a small donation on the day would be greatly appreciated.

IBJJF rules - www.ibjjf.org/rules.htm

ARTICLE 11Ί- Awarded points according to the athletes classification

a-) First place: 9 points
b-) Second place: 3 points
c-) Third place: 1 point

ARTICLE 12Ί- When there is a tie situation between teams in a tournament

a-) Larger number of gold medals
b-) Larger number of silver medals
c-) Higher rank champion
d-) Heavier champion

(Tomasz Gdyna is Griphouse and I think Andrew Burns is too so adjusted the points for this)
